PROTON ROLLS OUT ‘IMPROVED’ IRIZ
KUALA LUMPUR – Proton Holdings Bhd officially rolled out its refined Proton Iriz on Monday, and the car will be available at all Proton showrooms nationwide.
In a statement on Monday, chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Fuaad Kenali said the new Proton Iriz featured an improved noise, vibration and harshness level, an eco-drive assist indicator and a refined engine control unit calibration that provided linear response for improved driveability.
“We will not compromise on safety standards and security features, and Iriz is renowned for its excellent safety features and its hot pressed forming steel structure.
“Since it was introduced in September 2014, we have sold more than 45,000 units, making it the second best-selling Proton car since its inception, after the legendary Saga,” he said.
The car comes in four variants – the 1.3L Standard (MT and CVT), 1.3L Executive CVT and 1.6L Premium CVT.
Priced from RM43,800 to RM58,800, it is available in five colours – Ruby Red, Carnelian Brown, Graphite Grey, Atlantic Blue and Cotton White.
